Men suffer a multitude of symptoms when they have low sex hormones. The most noticed symptoms are a reduction in sexual desire followed by erectile dysfunction, fatigue, weight gain, muscle loss, and brain fog (fuzzy thinking). These signs frequently cause men to seek medical care and solutions.
Low Testerone Levels?
Testosterone levels have dropped dramatically in industrialized countries over the past thirty years. This problem does not exist just in older men. Men as young as their 30s may present with problems related to low testosterone levels due to diet, environmental toxins, or a history of concussion and traumatic brain injury (TBI). Low testosterone, known as hypogonadism, may be the result of testicular failure (primary hypogonadism) or the result of the brain failing to properly control testosterone levels (secondary hypogonadism).
